Christmas Market Wrocław

In 2026, the Wroclaw Christmas Market will take place from November 27, 2026, to January 7, 2027. Admission to the market is completely free. Every day, the event will fill Wroclaw’s Market Square with a festive atmosphere, the aroma of mulled wine, and hundreds of charming stalls.

Standard opening hours for all stalls are 10:00 AM–9:00 PM. During the Christmas and New Year’s period, special opening hours and days off may apply, which the organizers usually announce closer to the event.

Where Is the Wroclaw Christmas Market Held?

The entire Christmas village is located right in the city center, meaning that the apartment you choose is just a few steps away from all the key points of the event. The Christmas Market area includes:

• Market Square – all four sides: south, north, east, and west,
• Swidnicka Street – the section from the Market Square to the underpass, including the newly developed area leading toward the Opera House,
• Olawska Street – the section from the Market Square all the way to Szewska Street,
• Solny Square.

The heart of Wroclaw transforms into a space that enchants visitors with a dazzling display of colorful lights, the aroma of mulled wine, and delicious traditional treats. As you stroll through the specially designed zones, you’ll discover spinning carousels, interactive obstacle courses, mini-trains, as well as picturesque decorations, twinkling ornaments, and unique spots perfect for taking souvenir photos.

A true feast awaits food lovers - you’ll find handmade gingerbread, aromatic oscypek cheese, chocolate treats, hot mulled wine, and many other winter delicacies that will warm you up on colder days. The festive atmosphere is complemented by numerous concerts, shows, and interactive artistic performances that create a magical mood you’ll remember for a long time.

The event is divided into unique realms, each offering different decorations and atmospheres that enhance the winter walking experience:

• West Frontage – Fairy Tale Land: Here you’ll meet interactive characters, such as Antek the talking moose and the Ice Queen. The “Karczma pod Losiem” tavern located here serves warming mulled wine and hot chocolate, and a special holiday postcard makes for the perfect photo backdrop.
• North Side – Land of Forest Gnomes: A space styled like an atmospheric forest, home to cheerful gnomes led by the Giant Gnome. There, you’ll find the “Mlynowka” cottage with warm drinks and a spectacular Christmas tree carousel.
• Eastern Frontage – Picturesque Forest: A place for great fun, featuring an interactive gift factory, picturesque huts, carousels, and a mini train. A brand-new addition to this zone is “Santa’s Workshop” - an elaborate obstacle course with a festive twist.
• South Side – Land of Gnomes and Reindeer: A zone filled with traditional gnome figures and an impressive, illuminated reindeer with a sleigh. A visit to the “Pod Krasnalem” cottage, serving hot chocolate and aromatic drinks, will provide moments of relaxation.
• Plac Solny – Land of the Elves: An interactive and incredibly atmospheric Playland. Here you’ll discover unique decorations, including the “keyhole with little elves,” and the festively decorated Town Hall, where you can warm up with a cup of winter mulled wine.
