Łódź Christmas Market 2025

The Christmas Market in Łódź will take place from November 29, 2025, through January 6, 2026.

Hours:

Monday–Friday: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday: 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Admission to the market is free.

This year, Plac Wolności will become the heart of the entire event. It’s a convenient location, well-connected, close to the city center and Piotrkowska Street, and easily accessible by tram and bus. The street is lined with many cafes, restaurants, and attractions. The new location is more spacious and allows for a cohesive, larger fair than in previous years.

No market in Łódź would be complete without winter classics: aromatic mulled wine, hot chocolate, gingerbread, and spiced pastries, as well as traditional Łódź sweets and holiday dishes from various European countries.

While visiting the market, be sure to check out:

• Manufaktura—beautifully lit, with winter attractions,
• EC1 Łódź—the Science and Technology Center,
• Piotrkowska Street—with decorations, restaurants, and bars,
• Monopolis—a charming spot for an evening stroll, dinner, or photos.

The market on Plac Wolności pairs perfectly with a walk toward Piotrkowska Street and the city’s top attractions.

The Christmas Market at Freedom Square is not only an opportunity for holiday shopping, but above all a place full of unique experiences. It is here that you can feel the true spirit of the holidays, surrounded by the scent of spices, the glow of winter lights, and the sounds of Christmas carols. The organizers are also preparing numerous attractions for children: meet-and-greets with Santa Claus, art workshops, interactive games, and a mini-stage featuring performances by local artists. This makes the market a great spot for both a family afternoon and a romantic evening stroll.
